Today we are featuring Jess Davis who is also known as Boardgame Girl. Jess has been playing games since she was a young child. Her family loved Bingo, which may contribute to her propensity to yell out board games! at a moment’s notice, and playing card games like 31.In fact, her aunts and uncles were borderline compulsive gamblers, betting nickels on their hands of 31 almost every single night.
We are pleased to announce that Midgard Comics and Games will be joining us this year as our vendor. They are a local comic and game store located in Derry, New Hampshire. They plan to be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday of #G2S18 for all of your game buying needs!
Today we are featuring Andrew Smith from Board Game Quest. Andrew contributes written content spanning reviews to top 10 lists, and more. I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew at Origins this past summer.

We are excited to announce that we will have the crew from Portsmouth Escape Room joining us Saturday March 10th, 2018 at #G2S18! They will be hosting a pop-up escape room starting at 10 a.m.. The pop-up event is a 15 minute puzzle for up to 5 people at a time.
Today we are featuring Darren Kisgen the designer of Dragonwood. Darren was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He has a PhD in Finance from the University of Washington, and degrees in Mathematics, Economics and Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.

Today we are featuring a person who is both a game publisher and designer who will be joining us at #G2S18, Curt Covert from Smirk & Dagger. Curt is a fourteen-year veteran of the industry and the owner of Smirk & Dagger Games.

We are proud to announce that we will be hosting the New Hampshire State Championships for the games Diamonds, Skull King, Game of 49, Neuroshima Hex, Nevermore and Dimension. The winner of each game will receive a trophy, a copy of that game, plus a seat at the final round of the Northeast Regional Championship at DEXCON 21 (as well as a free badge to DEXCON 21)!
Today we are featuring Dan Hundycz designer of Affliction: Salem 1692 and Pirates. Dan formed DPH Games Inc. 5 years ago and was formerly a school counselor. Getting people together, interacting, problem solving and having fun is a priority for him.

We, the G2S staff, would like to thank all of you for helping us continue to grow and thrive. Our single day events, and our very first multi-day events have all been quite successful and we couldn’t have done it without you. It has been a really great first year and a half, we are unbelievably grateful for the opportunity to help build the community.
Today we are featuring Jim Fitzpatrick, the designer of Mission to Planet Hexx! Jim is a Massachusetts native, a programmer for a large medical software company, and a semi-professional stage actor.
Today we are featuring Marshall Britt of Yanaguana Games. Marshall, his wife Courtney, and their son Harrison moved to Rhode Island last Spring from Texas.
As an indie game and arcade enthusiast, Jason Tagmire has an eye for unique, quirky, fun and fast playing games.
Since inventing “The Game of 49,” Mark Corsey has had to quit saying, “Hey, don’t look at me, I didn’t make the rules!” In game playing and in general, he plays by the rules; he only dresses like an outlaw.
Today our featured designer is not one, but all three designers Meg, Dan, and Glenn of Games by Playdate. Games by Playdate design, produce and publish their own games and are based out of Manchester, NH. Games ranging from Slash: a party game where you ‘ship popular characters and create your own fan fic; Pack the Pack: an adventuring, tile laying game; and Hearts Blazing: a card driven story-game where you create an episode of melodramatic sci-fi series over in under 2 hrs. currently on Kickstarter. Today’s featured designer is Bobby Fowler, of Space Chase, a not yet published game. He lives in scenic Manchester, NH and is currently raising several young prototype games. He has high hopes that one day they will grow up, get jobs and move out of the house, but is unsure of when that will happen. Bobby enjoys both designing games as well as creating artwork for them. Today’s featured designer is Jeff Johnston, designer of Flashlights and Fireflies, MoonQuake Escape, and Toasted or Roasted. Jeff is retired from the US Air Force and is a game design hobbyist with a day job as a defense contractor. A family man, he is recently recovering from three children in college during the same year. He enjoys creating family friendly games, strong in theme that bring everyone to the table for playful interaction. Available at stores near you, try Toasted or Roasted and Flashlights & Fireflies at your next family game night. MoonQuake Escape, his latest project, should be available later this summer. He’ll also be attending our Summit in May.
Today’s featured designer is Chip Beauvais, designer of the games Smoke and Mirrors and ChromaCubes. He also runs a game on Twitter, A Little Alliteration, which can be found @LitAlliteration. He plays the saxophone, is a father, and encourages supporting creators with Creator Appreciation Day via social media. He’ll also be joining us at Granite Game Summit in May.
Today’s feature designer is Kevin Crane, who also happens to be one of our Granite Game Summit organizers. Kevin is a Husband, and a father to two boys, who loves to create, no matter the medium. He is an amateur game designer who is in the process of publishing his first game, Robit Riddle, but does not currently have any games on the market.
